Newspapers and smudgy fingers

He’s the only guy I know who works in the interactive media industry, who spends hundreds of hours online but still prefers to get his daily news from traditional newspapers.  Prefers to get his fingers all smudgy from the cheap printing.

That’s just so annoying.

ps: Face blurred to protect his market value.  Women do not like men with smudgy fingers… or do they? :P

No like beer but no killjoy either

If I were to order drinks, you’ll hardly see me ordering beer.  I’m not a big fan of beer.  I prefer something a little bit more sweeter - Chivas, JD, Vodka, Bacardi, Ribena.

Was hanging out with the guys from my company tonite and a client bought drinks for all of us.  Beer.  Buckets and buckets of beer.  He hand passed me a bottle and I took it.  Hey, I’m no killjoy.  We raised our bottles and we drank. 

Only God knows how many bottles of beer these guys have consumed.  The buckets kept coming.  Me?  The whole night I’m still not done with that bottle he passed to me.

V joined us later and was so surprised that I was drinking beer.  She ordered something for herself and asked if I wanted something else.  I told her again, I ain’t no killjoy.

The whole time this bartender was giving me a look that said “What the hell! This sissy still hasn’t finished his beer!?”  He would periodically check on me by trying to innocently ask me “Sir, can I get you another one?”

“Errr… no, I’ve still got this” showing him my bottle.  The few more times he asked I tried to lighten him up by pointing to the red lava lamp thingy, “I’ll have that instead.”  He didn’t think it was funny. :P

If we're facing a financial crunch...

...then why is every Crocs store packed with people.
...why every store has ran out of popular sizes.

Goodbye Pak Lah

First picture we have Tun Hussein Onn, Father of Unity.

Second picture we have Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad, Father of Modernisation.

Third picture we have Tun Abdullah Badawi, also known as Pak Lah, Father In-Law of Khairi Jamaluddin.

In the picture Pak Lah seems to be shown holding a jar of ???  I have no idea what that is.  But the blue ribbon adds a nice touch, doncha think?

Last picture is a close up.  Paint splashed on his face.  That pretty much sums it up. :P

Fallen tree on car

Imagine leaving your office to find a fallen tree on top of your car.
*touch wood*
 
The good news is the front and mid-section of the car is still intact.
 Only the back portion is dented.
 
The bad news is how are you going to get your car out? Who do you
call for help in this kind of situation?
 
Kesian the driver. But at least got number to buy tomorrow. :p

Umbrella ella ella eh eh eh

Woke up a little late this morning for a meeting. Thank goodness the traffic was smooth as silk.
 
First meeting of the day at that half-naked girls uni. Still no half-naked girls.
 
Afternoon meeting at that black and white panda organization. I told my partner that I always reject them when they approach me on the street for donations. I just don't have the heart to give money to wildlife conservation when I could give it to children causes like children living with cancer or aids. Partner tells me not to bring it up during meeting. :P
 
Meeting ended earlier than anticipated.
 
Dark clouds hovering above us. Told partner we should go while we can.

Partner hungry wor. Knows a place where there is good chee cheung fan. We drive there. Get down. Place not opened. Cats and dogs start falling from the sky. Cannot reach car. So close yet so far.
 
Anyone got an umbrella.. ella... ella... eh eh eh... eh eh eh...

An innocent horse killed

Sometimes you just feel so hungry that you could eat a horse.
When you reach the restaurant with your hunger intact, you immediately
order a whole horse.
But with just the mushroom soup, garlic bread and five cheese balls,
you're already full.
An innocent horse had to be killed just because of you.
